InGaAS SWIR PIN photodiodes and APD are now available from PremierPhotonics

We now offer PremierPhotonics' InGaAs photodetectors in standard PIN, extended-wavelength PIN, and avalanche-photodiode (APD) formats for near-infrared sensing and communications. Its standard InGaAs PIN detectors cover 800–1700 nm, combine high-speed response with low noise and low dark current, and are offered with active areas from 75 μm to 3,000 μm. Extended InGaAs PIN devices extend detection into the 1,200–2,600 nm range for longer-wavelength applications such as gas sensing, thermal measurement, laser technology, and medical instrumentation. Its InGaAs APDs operate across 900–1700 nm, with higher-performance Type 5 devices aimed at demanding ranging and LiDAR uses and cost-conscious Type 4 alternatives for applications including test and measurement, telecom, datacom, and laser engineering.
